Asgat Safarov awards volleyball player Maria Borodakova 'For Merits to Tatarstan' medal

Today in Kazan Kremlin, Chief of Tatarstan President’s Administration, Council Chairman of the Dinamo sport society Asgat Safarov awarded volleyball player Maria Borodakova medal 'For Merits to Tatarstan' and a commemorative medal, the 90the anniversary of the Dinamo sport society, the press service Tatarstan President reports.

The event was also attended by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport of Tatarstan Khalil Shaikhutdinov, Executive Director of the Tatarstan Volleyball Federation Mansur Karimov, Director of women's volleyball club Dinamo-Kazan Sergey Chernyshov, Head Coach of VC Dinamo-Kazan Rishat Gilyazutdinov.

It should be recalled that this spring, the volleyball player announced her leaving Dinamo-Kazan and the end of playing career.

Asgat Safarov thanked Maria Borodakova for her great contribution to the development of Russian and Tatarstan sports. "Volleyball is one of the most popular sports in the country which attracts more and more fans, which largely thanks to you," he stressed.
