Zenit Kazan won in another match of Russian Volleyball Cup’s preliminary stage in Kemerovo.
Anna Filimonova, a student of Kazan Federal University’s Yelabuga Instititute, competed in World Junior Powerlifting Championship. According to the university’s press service, she brought back four gold medals.

Zenit Kazan won 3:1 against Kuzbass Kemerovo in their first match of the Russian Volleyball Cup’s preliminary stage.

FIFA president Sepp Blatter has pronounced himself happy with Russia’s preparations for hosting the 2018 World Cup, telling R-Sport on Tuesday that there are “no problems” with proceedings.
On September 11 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited IV international railway exhibition Expo-1520 and took part in a conference “Railway engineering. Prospects, technologies, priorities”.
According to Rubin Kazan website, Rubin-2 tied 1:1 with Spartak Yoskar Ola in the home leg of the 9th round of Russian football tournament amongst Ural-Volga Region teams.
