August 25 marked the end of the WorldSkills International inspection visit in the capital of Tatarstan. The visit featured the working sessions on the preparation of WorldSkills Kazan 2019.

The first matches of the Beach Volleyball European Championship men's group stage took place in Kazan.

During the inspection visit in Kazan on August 23, the delegation led by David Hoey, CEO WorldSkills International, visited the construction site of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, which will serve as a stage to the WorldSkills Kazan 2019.

First qualification matches of the European Championshipa and the drawing of lots took place in Kazan.

The project sessions featuring WorldSkills International Secretariat and members of WorldSkills Russia and ANO “Directorate for Sports and Social Projects” take place in the host city of WorldSkills Kazan 2019 on 21-25 August 2017.
