The winners of the Open All-Russian WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Volunteer Centre Selection Contest were unveiled during the official closing ceremony of the Volunteers Academy 2017 All-Russian Education Camp.
The Volunteer Centres located at least one in each of 8 Federal District of Russia will directly participate in implementation of the volunteer programme and will train the volunteers for their visit to Kazan in August 2019:

6. Primorsky Krai – Youth voluntary organization “Volunteer of Primorye”
7. Republic of Karelia – Karelian regional public youth organization “Volunteering development Centre”
8. Novosibirsk Oblast – State budget institution of the Novosibirsk Oblast "House of Youth"
9. Stavropol Krai – Pyatigorsk State University
10. Rostov Oblast – Southern Federal University, Institute of Computer Technology and Information Security
11. Krasnodar Krai – Volunteers Recruiting Centre of Kuban State Technological University
12. Irkutsk region – Irkutsk Regional Volunteer Centre
13. Chelyabinsk Oblast – ANO "Volunteers Association of South Ural"
14. Moscow – Volunteer Centre at the Moscow Polytechnic University
15. Chuvash Republic – Centre of Youth Initiatives of the Ministry of Education and Youth Policies of Chuvash Republic
The contest was open in September 2017 and higher and secondary education establishments' departments, government bodies, and non-commercial organisations of the Russian Federation could participate.
Contest featured several steps. At the first step, the contestants prepared the application documents and led the presentations dedicated to WorldSkills Kazan 2019 and its volunteer programme in their and neighboring regions. Working together, the contestants reached the audience of more than 100 000 people from 20 regions of Russia.
The second phase of the contest which took part in December 2017 during the Volunteers Academy 2017 All-Russian Education Camp, featured the education programme, design and presentation of the project of the WorldSkills development strategy in the regions of the Russian Federation. Based on the results of finalists' presentation, 15 winners have been decided.
The active participation of the centres in the volunteer programme will commence from 2018. The first step will feature the signing of the cooperation agreements with the Directorate for Sports and Social Projects (co-organizer of the 45th WorldSkills Competition 2019 in Kazan) and inaugurations of the Volunteer Centres.
