These competitions will be held in the capital city of Tatarstan for the fourth time. The best divers first came to Kazan in 2015, ahead of the FINA World Championships. Since then, one of the FINA Diving World Series has been organised in Kazan annually. Over 70 athletes from 14 countries will take part in the tournament this year.
The Kazan leg of FINA Diving World Series will be the last one this season. The first two rounds were held in Beijing of China (9-11 March) and Fuji of Japan (15-17 March), and the third leg will take place in Montreal of Canada from 27 to 29 April.
The competitions will run for three days. On the first day of the tournament the athletes will compete for the medals in men’s and women’s 3m springboard and 10m platform synchro events. On May 5, women will define the medallists in 10m platform, and men will define the podium in 3m springboard. Besides, mixed duets will make the winners and medallists known in 10 m platform. On May 6, men and women will swap the events, and the mixed teams will perform in 3m springboard.
