Russian synchronised swimming championship 2018: day 2, evening session

Competition Day 2 of the Russian Synchronised Swimming Championship created a slight sensation. Moscow Team was cut off from the medals in the technical duet event, the discipline which wrapped up the second day of the tournament.

27 pairs competed for the medals. The synchro swimmers of Moscow could not reach the place higher than the fifth spot. The host team represented by Olesya Arkhipova, Mariya Vosmushko and Ekaterina Yermakova of Tatartan Team won the second medal, becoming bronze medallists of the national championship. This is the second medal for Olesya Arkhipova, particularly. Earlier she had finished bronze in the technical solo routine. Less than a point separated the Tatarstan girls from the silver medallists, Alisa Golubeva, Yana Presnyakova and Evilina Pavlenko of Saint Petersburg. By the way, Alina Mantulenko took her second medal of the championship. In the technical solo she had won over her opponent from Tatarstan Olesya Arkhipova and showed a silver performance.
