Today, on the second day of the FIFA Fan FestTM in Kazan, visitors will be able to watch three matches – Egypt-Uruguay, Morocco-Iran and Portugal-Spain. The matches will be held in Yekaterinburg, Saint-Petersburg and Sochi. In Kazan, the matches will be broadcast on screens installed at the FIFA Fan FestTM venue that was opened the day before. Football fans will gather at the venue near the Kazan Family Centre to root for their teams, to support football players and to embrace the atmosphere of football extravaganza.
The Fan Fest venue opens today at 13:00, and the first attendees will be welcomed by DJ Mickey. A concert, titled “We Are Together”, will introduce visitors of Kazan to traditions of nations of the world.
After the Egypt-Uruguay match, that starts at 15:00, the Fan Fest attendees will be treated to a concert programme featuring folk dance and vocal ensembles.
The Marocco-IR Iran and Portugal-Spain matches start at 18:00 and 15:00 respectively. During the break between the games, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy acts from some local bands and dance groups.
As was reported earlier, admission to the FIFA Fan FestTM is free. No tickets or Fan ID are required. At the venue, visitors will be able to purchase products featuring the 2018 FIFA World CupTM logo, national souvenirs and visit Partners and Sponsors’ booths.
