111,900 people visited the FIFA FAN FEST over the first three days

17 June 2018, Sunday

During the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ matches, residents and guests of Kazan have another place to enjoy themselves together with their family and friends. For several days now, the Kazan Family Centre plays stage to the FIFA Fan Fest™ that has already welcomed thousands of citizens. 111,900 spectators – both locals and foreigners – visited the site over the first three days. This sunny Sunday was no exception, where the FIFA Fan Fest™ offered something interesting to kids as well as to adults.

Huge screens broadcasting the World Cup matches became the main attraction point of the FIFA Fan Fest™. Today visitors of the FIFA Fan Fest™ watched the matches of Costa Rica and Serbia (Samara), Germany and Mexico (Moscow), and a match of Brazil and Switzerland will be played at 21:00 in Rostov-on-Don. DJ OZZ, MC Zali, DJ Ali, DJ Om, Miss DJ, DJ Albertini, Silfred CREW and Progulshiki played between the matches.

Sponsors and Partners of the event provided some activities for the fans as well. The monument of the official Mascot of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™, Zabivaka™ was in the spotlight of the event surrounded by the crowd of participants willing to take a picture with the wolf.

For example, everyone could play table football or score a penalty. Children and their parents also had a chance to play bowling with a big inflatable ball. After that fans could have a rest on the football shaped pouffes. "We came to have fun and we loved it, the atmosphere is amazing," shared their feelings residents of Kazan, Elena and Zarina.

For the youngest visitors of the FIFA Fan Fest™, there is a kids space with a mini football field and a bounce house. Bogdan from Kazan visited the venue with kids. "It is fun, the kids space is big, they love it." According to Bogdan, he will be glad to come back to the Fan Fest to watch football. Robert of Kazan repeatedly comes to the FIFA Fan Fest™ with his daughter and mother. According to him, his daughter enjoys most the bounce castle, drawing and bowling. Yesterday they came here to watch the match between France and Australia that took place at the Kazan Arena stadium.

Lilia from Kazan also has only positive impressions from the Fan Fest. "I already wrote it on my instagram and invited everyone to come here," she noted.

The FIFA Fan Fest™ will last until 15 July. The admission is free, no FAN ID is required.
