The preparation of the external appearance of the city for the meeting of guests and fans is being completed in Kazan. This morning, a new photo-zone appeared near the walls of the Kazan Kremlin: the inscription “KAZAN”, composed of voluminous letters and decorated with the symbols of the championship.

The photo-zone near the Kremlin walls with a view of the Kul-Sharif Mosque, which has a special point that reveals the best panorama of the city, is already gathering the first visitors. They are striving to take a photo to commemorate the historically significant sporting event that is being held in Russia for the first time. Tourists from Colombia and other countries have already taken pictures with the inscription with a flag.

A similar object is also installed near the pedestrian overpass at the Tankovoe Ring. It is adorned with the inscription “Russia 2018”, the same inscription appeared near the arch on Amirkhan Prospect.

The public art with the image of the world team is almost finished on the walls framing Bulak. The artists depicted players from different countries, united in a single team. In addition, other unusual public arts will appear in the capital of Tatarstan. For example, today the wall of the building along S. Khakim Street, № 58, will be decorated with the image of Igor Netto, a famous Soviet football player and hockey player. And the building on G. Kamal Street, №2, has an unusual picture of the Kazan residents’ life on it. The completion of the painting will take a couple more days.

Today, the solemn opening ceremony of the Fan Festival will take place on the territory of the Family Center “Kazan” in the capital of Tatarstan. In the evening, fans will be able to watch the first match of the championship between the national teams of Russia and Saudi Arabia.
