FIFA FAN FEST: come in advance to pass security check up

20 June 2018, Wednesday

The FIFA Fan Fest™ continues to work by the Kazan Family Centre in Kazan. Over the first 6 days the site was visited by 221,900 people, including tourists and local residents.

To ensure the most pleasant and comfortable experience at the FIFA Fan Fest™, please follow a set of simple rules. To avoid a long queue in front of the entrance and not be late for the match, come in advance. The FIFA Fan Fest™ opens 3 hours before the match. Coming early you will not only ensure a quick security pass without queues, but also will be able to enjoy different activities from FIFA partners, buy souvenirs and savor the festive atmosphere.

You can enter the FIFA Fan Fest™only through the special gates where the security check up of spectators and their personal belongings is taking place. We kindly ask you to cooperate while undergoing the checking: the procedure is aimed to provide your security on site. The security do their best to ensure the fastest entry on site.

When planning to visit the FIFA Fan Fest™ please remember:

- It is better to wear comfortable shoues as you will be walking a lot.

- Before going out, please examine the Rules of Conduct at the FIFA Fan Fest™ and the List of Prohibited Items. Leave at home umbrellas, selfie sticks, food and beverage.

- If you come with kids, please address the Lost and Found Service or Information Point volunteers to get a bracelet for a kid where they will write a child's parents' phone number. In case the kid is lost it will help find parents quicker and easier.

- Smoking is allowed only in the special smoking zones. To find them, ask a volunteer or a staff personnel.

- Bicycles are not allowed. There is a bicycle parking zone at the venue but you will need to bring a lock with you.

We remind you that the FIFA Fan Fest™ is the only official venue to watch the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ matches outside the stadium. It was open on 14 June, the day on the first World Cup match, and will be closed on the final day (15 July). There will be 6 rest days when the venue is closed – 29 July, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13 July 2018. Its capacity is of 25,000 people.
