More than 800,000 people have visited the FIFA Fan Fest™ by the Kazan Family Centre from 14 June to 15 July. On Sunday the final match in Moscow decided the winner of the World Cup, as team France beat team Croatia. The final match day was the last day of the FIFA Fan Fest™ as well.
The venue was tested several days before the start of the World Cup as the Day of Russia was celebrated here on 12 June. The Fan Fest started with a gastronomic record as a huge chack-chack with of more than 4 tons. The first match of the World Cup against Russia and Saudi Arabia was also broadcasted on that day. It should be noted that nearly all 64 matches were broadcasted at the FIFA Fan Fest™.
The FIFA Fan Fest™ became very popular among the citizens and fans from all over the world. Official Stores with licensed FIFA World Cup™ products, FIFA Sponsors and Partners booth were located on the territory of the FIFA Fan Fest™.
An entertainment programmed featured numerous concerts and shows. 220 volunteers helped at the FIFA Fan Fest™ to all the visitors. They were awarded on the last day of the FIFA Fan Fest™.
