Vitaly Mutko visits Kazanka beach volleyball centre
On the 10th of July Vitaly Mutko, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation, together with Rafis Burganov, Minister of Youth Affairs,Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, paid visit to the Kazanka beach volleyball centre in the context of sport venues scheduled inspection at the 27th Summer Universiade Kazan 2013.
Visiting dignitaries were present at several competitions between the USA and Japan teams. Vitaly Mutko was glad of the venue work; he mentioned peculiar atmosphere and active fans’ behaviour on the stands.
Among other things Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation touched upon a question of the Kazanka beach volleyball centre future heritage, he suggested a number of ideas concerning its future usage. He noticed that the venue is a ready basis not only for training processes, but also for big world competitions in beach volleyball and other beach sports: soccer, handball, tennis, rugby.

He said that representatives of UEFA and FIFA must come here immediately, and also Joan Cusco, vice-president of the Beach Soccer Worldwide, in order to confirm the high level of competitions organization and consider Kazanka beach volleyball centre as one of the main grounds for world competitions».
