Russian women’s basketball players advance to semi-finals at Universiade

Russian women’s basketball players reached the semi-finals at the Summer Universiade 2013, beating the Czech team. The match ended with a score of 74:66 (16:19, 13:14, 25:23, 20:10) in favour of the Russians. The most productive player on the Russian team was the captain Natalia Viera, scoring 17 points. In the semi-finals, the Russian team will play the winner of the quarterfinal game between Chinese Taipei and Hungary.
