Russian runners win gold in 4x400 relay at Universiade

On July 12, competitions in track and field continued at the 27th World University Summer Games in Kazan.

Runners from Team Russia won gold at the Universiade in Kazan in the 4 by 400 metre relay. Russian team of Maxim Dyldin, Dmitry Buriak, Radel Hashefrazov and Vladimir Krasnov ran the distance in 3 minutes 3.71 seconds. The silver went to Team Canada with 3 minutes 5.26 seconds, and bronze to Team South Africa – 3 minutes, 6.19 seconds. Earlier the Russian women had also won their 4x400 relay.
