Beach volleyball players Ukolova and Khomyakova become Universiade champions

On July 12, two beach volleyball matches took place at the 27th World Summer University Games in Kazan.

The Russians Evgeniya Ukolova and Ekaterina Khomyakova won the gold of the Kazan 2013 Universiade in beach volleyball. In the final the Russian pair overcame the Polish duet of Monika Brzostek and Kinga Kolosinska with a score of 2-0 (21:19, 21:17). The bronze went to the German pair of Chantal Laboureur and Julia Katharina Sude.
