Russian Aleksandra Zhashkova rated best woman hockey player of Universiade

The captain of the Russian women’s national team in field hockey, Aleksandra Zhashkova, is rated the best player of the 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan.

The South Korean team took first place in the women’s field hockey tournament, followed by the Russians and the Japanese. Besides the title of the best woman hockey player of the Summer Universiade 2013, the following nominations were announced as well: the fair play prize went to the Belarusian team (fourth place), the Russian Olga Chugunova was rated best goalkeeper, while the Korean Cho Eun Ji became top scorer of the competition.
