Kazan 2013 volunteers successfully complete their internship at World Combat Games. Part 3

Upon arrival in St. Petersburg, the volunteers received training, visited competition and non-competition venues, collected their uniforms and got down to work, especially since they were offered very important and responsible positions. 20 boys and girls worked as attachés to 15 international sports federations represented at the World Combat Games - sambo, judo, taekwondo, karate, aikido, sumo, boxing, Thai boxing, French boxing, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, wushu, wrestling, kendo, fencing. Those volunteers, who already had experience of working in the positions of attachés to sports teams and attachés to the FISU Family at the Universiade in Kazan, coped well with the tasks assigned to them - they helped around in the office of the sports federation, provided language services, assisted athletes during competitions and so on.
Jeddah city in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has hosted a "Fitness Diploma" for the first time, run under the supervision of Fitness Pioneers Academy and Dar Al - Hekma University representing the Saudi Side while Kazan Cooperative University from the Republic of Tatarstan has represented the Russian Side.
Anastasia Fesikova, representing Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Kaluga Oblast, took gold in the 50m backstroke race at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship in Kazan (26.94).
