1 November 2013, Friday
Upon arrival in St. Petersburg, the volunteers received training, visited competition and non-competition venues, collected their uniforms and got down to work, especially since they were offered very important and responsible positions. 20 boys and girls worked as attachés to 15 international sports federations represented at the World Combat Games - sambo, judo, taekwondo, karate, aikido, sumo, boxing, Thai boxing, French boxing, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, wushu, wrestling, kendo, fencing. Those volunteers, who already had experience of working in the positions of attachés to sports teams and attachés to the FISU Family at the Universiade in Kazan, coped well with the tasks assigned to them - they helped around in the office of the sports federation, provided language services, assisted athletes during competitions and so on.
