When talking about the period of the preparation and staging of the Universiade, the minister emphasised that the numerous Kazan 2013 team had successfully managed to walk a long way, overcome all the difficulties and ensure that all the visitors, participants and spectators of the World University Games were happy and fell forever in love with Kazan and Tatarstan. "For a long time after the Universiade, all of my colleagues in the regions kept recalling with admiration the hospitality that they had received here, the high-quality and spectacular organisation of the competitions, and the enormous transformation of Kazan. All these words of thanks are, first of all, addressed to you since the Directorate coordinated all the processes associated with the conduct of the Games", said the minister to the audience.
