Media accreditation now open for Kazan 2015

The 16th FINA World Championships media accreditation process has been launched at the official Kazan 2015 website on January 15. In accordance with the FINA requirements, accredited media representatives will be provided with all the facilities needed to make their working environment as comfortable and efficient as possible.

Each of the competition venues will include the following press facilities: press centre, photo workroom, press conference room, mixed zone, press tribunes, info desk, photo positions and media lounge. All zones will have free Internet connection (wired and wireless), and workplaces will be equipped with computer and office appliances. 

During the Championships, journalists will have access to the following services: hotel accommodation, meals, meet and greet services, transportation, visa support, assistance in passing the customs formalities, information support. A special INFO system, an official source of up-to-the-minute sports information, will be launched for the duration of the Championships to provide accredited media representatives with all kinds of data on the sporting event. The system will be available starting July 23, 2015 through the sports venues' Intranet.

The 2015 FINA World Championships media accreditation will run until May 15, 2015. The accreditation process will be carried out via the FINA General Management System. In order to apply and enter the system, an applicant will need to visit the official website, go to the Accreditation section and choose the Media category. Detailed information on the accreditation procedure will be made available in due time in the Mass media section.
