Over 6.4 million rubles will be allocated from the federal budget to Tatarstan as targeted finance support of sport organizations, which hold preparations of sport reserves for the national teams, Russian Government’s portal reports.
Allocation of subsidies from the federal budget to 78 Russian regions was approved in accordance with the Government’s order from 14 February. The subsidies were allotted for finance support of sport organizations, which hold preparations of sport reserves for the national teams under Physical Culture and Sport Development state program. A total amount of the subsidies is 523.8 million rubles. As much as 1,240 sport organization, where over 850,000 athletes practice, will receive the support.
Besides, another order of Russian Government from 16 February approved allocation of such subsidies to budgets of Crimea Republic and Sevastopol, which attained 90 million rubles. It will allow to support 77 sport organizations with over 24,000 athletes.
The subsidies aim at training activities on the basic sports, providing food and residence for athletes during Russian championships, improving of qualification and retraining of specialists in the field of physical culture and sport, purchasing of sports and technological equipment and inventory for sports organizations, which involve in preparation of sports reserves for the national teams of Russia on the basic sports.
