Turkmenistan delegates tour Kazan 2015 sports venues

To learn more about their Tatarstan colleagues' event management experience, the delegates toured training and competition venues of the 16th FINA World Championships and FINA World Masters Championships, among them the Aquatics Palace and swimming pools Orgsintez, Olymp and Burevestnik. The tour was hosted by Director General of the Executive Directorate for Sports Projects, Azat Kadyrov, and Secretary General of the Directorate, Ranko Tepavcevic. The visitors highly praised Kazan's sports infrastructure and also provided updates on the projects currently being implemented in Turkmenistan, namely the construction of sports venues and the Athletes' Village (with the total area of more than 2 mln. sq. m.) and development of the monorail road that will connect Ashgabat's sports venues with the residential area.

Jeddah city in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has hosted a "Fitness Diploma" for the first time, run under the supervision of Fitness Pioneers Academy and Dar Al - Hekma University representing the Saudi Side while Kazan Cooperative University from the Republic of Tatarstan has represented the Russian Side.
Anastasia Fesikova, representing Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Kaluga Oblast, took gold in the 50m backstroke race at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship in Kazan (26.94).
