Russian pop singer Nyusha becomes Kazan 2015 ambassador

Nyusha, singer and composer: “I consider myself incredibly lucky to witness such an event as the FINA World Championships in Kazan! I’m even more excited that I was selected to become the Championships Ambassador; it’s a great honour for me! My sister Masha Shuroshkina, a Russian synchro swimmer and three-time world champion, will compete at the World Championships. I know how much effort she puts into her training sessions and how hard she has been gearing up for this event. I will root for her and support all Russian athletes! I believe that we will win!” The new ambassador was announced by Director General of the Executive Directorate for Sports Projects, Azat Kadyrov, and his deputy, Mikhail Zotov.
