World records will be definitely broken at Kazan 2015, russian swimming federation president says

The upcoming Championships will definitely witness world records in the swimming pool, President of the Russian Swimming Federation (RSF), Vladimir Salnikov, told to the R-Sport News Agency today. The FINA World Championships will take place in Kazan from July 24-August 9. The swimming tournament will feature 42 exciting medal events.

“Of course, records will be set. There’s no doubt about that! In which distances? I won’t spill the beans, otherwise that won’t be a surprise,” the RSF President said.

The 16th FINA World Championships will be held in Kazan, Russia, from July 24-August 9, 2015. This major international aquatics event has been organised by FINA since 1973 and includes six aquatic disciplines: swimming, open water swimming, diving, high diving, water polo and synchronised swimming.

The athletes participate in 75 medal events; the swimming programme includes 42 of them.
