Head of Tatarstan Ministry of Youth and Sport Leonov to participate Masters Championships

 On August 13, Head of Tatarstan Ministry of Youth and Sport Vladimir Leonov will take part in the FINA World Masters Championships in Aquatics in Kazan.
The Minister will compete in the age group 35-39 years in the 50 m freestyle. In addition, head of administration of Kirovsky and Moskovsky district of Kazan Damir Fattakhov will attend another swim in the same age category and at the same distance.

A total of 133 people declared by Tatarstan to participate in the 16th FINA World Masters Championships in Aquatics. Most of Tatarstan representatives, 106 people, will perform in swimming. Water polo and open water swimming will be attended by 13 and 14 people, respectively.

In total, 2,639 participants from 71 countries have been declared for participation in the Masters competition. Russia will be represented by 1,159 athletes.
