Tatarstan awarded for active realization of federal target program for sports development

Tatarstan delegation was awarded for active realization of the federal target program, Development of physical culture and sports in Russia for 2006-2015, at a national seminar dedicated to the similar program for 2016 -2020 years.

Despite Tatarstan delegation, other eight regions were awarded. Tatarstan enters the top five most active regions.

The seminar-workshop is being held in the framework of the 13th international exhibition, Sport, which is the largest annual forum of the Russian sports industry aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles. Traditionally, the forum is organized by the Russian Ministry of Sports.

The event was attended by Deputy Russian Sports Minister Pavel Novikov, who greeted participants and guests on behalf of the Russian Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko.
