Activists from the Kazan Volunteers movement received the right to join the volunteer delegation. The selection criteria included volunteer experience, such as at world-class events and WorldSkills activities held in Kazan in 2014-2016, English language proficiency, and vocational education in a profession.
Internship participants were designated by the competition organisers according to various competitive competences, including Floristry, Hairdressing, Stonemasonry, Mobile robotics, CAD, Landscape design, Welding technologies, and Repair and maintenance of cars, as well as by position of assistants to work with databases and services on site.
The task of volunteers participating in the internship is to acquaint themselves with their competences, organisation of activities on site, features of the competitions, and tasks that volunteers perform. This is a huge exchange of experience and best practices of conducting events of this level. All this knowledge will help organisers of the competition in Kazan and become the intellectual legacy of the internship.
