Kazan to host friendly match between legends of Philadelphia Flyers HC and Republic of Tatarstan team

On February 15, Kazan will host a friendly match between the world's ice hockey legends – Philadelphia Flyers HC and Republic of Tatarstan team. Famous ice hockey players will come together in the sports capital of Russia and provide their sports fans with real action of a live sporting event. Admission to the match is free. 

It is expected that the Republiс of Tatarstan team will be led by Tatarstan President, Rustam Minnikhanov. He will play alongside such big-name veteran players as Aleksey Chupin, Dmitry Balmin, Kirill Golubev, Evgeny Zakharov and other oldtimers of the Ak Bars HC. The Philadelphia Flyers HC team's roster will include Scott MacPherson, Al Secord, Bob Carpenter, Andrey Nikolishin, Aleksey Yashin and other stars. The match will take place at the Sport Palace. 

As part of their visit to Kazan, the ice hockey legends will take a sightseeing tour of the Tatarstan capital. On the next day after the match, February 16, they will host masterclasses for young ice hockey players of Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan.
