Yet another awards ceremony was held in the Kazan City Hall today to acknowledge the contributions of all those involved in the staging of the 2013 Summer Universiade. The event was attended by Head of the Executive Committee of Kazan, Aleksey Pesoshin. He presented letters of commendation of Kazan, letters of commendation of the Executive Committee and Kazan Mayor's letters of gratitude to the people who have made a significant contribution to the preparation and delivery of the World University Games in Kazan.

On December 20, Minister Rafis Burganov met with directors, sports managers and judges who contributed to staging the best Universiade ever held and presented them with awards on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
