A concert dedicated to Youth Day in Russia took places today, June 27, in Kazan. The concert titled ‘Kazan welcomes Youth Day’ was headlined by the famous Russian pop singer Nyusha. During the event which took place at the site between the Kazanka River embankment and the Palace of Farmers, Nyusha, who is also a composer and repeat winner of various musical awards and festivals, was announced as the Ambassador for the 16th FINA World Championships 2015.

Today Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the Tatneft Arena Sports Palace where rehearsals of the Opening Ceremony for the 16th FINA World Championships and the Pilgrim show take place. He saw a small extract of the show and met with performers after the rehearsal.

Representatives of republican media outlets visited today two Kazan 2015 venues in order to look at the final preparation stage for the 16th FINA World Championships. During the media tour, reporters visited the Kazan Arena Stadium and Water Polo Arena and asked questions to Director General of the Executive Directorate for Sports Projects, Azat Kadyrov, and Secretary General of the Directorate, Ranko Tepavcevic.
According to General Director of the Executive Directorate of sports projects, in general, the stadium is ready for the World Championships in Aquatic.
