More than 50,000 tickets for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and Pilgrim show go on sale as the preparation for the 16th FINA World Championships passes the 100-days-to-go mark. A record number of tickets has been sold in a single day - around 10% of the released volume of tickets.

The FINA World Championships Opening Ceremony is a protocol event hosted for all the participants of the tournament: athletes, FINA Family, FINA Partners, Championships Partners, FINA National Member Federations, and the Organising Committee.  

Captain of Ak Bars Kazan Alexander Svitov brought the team its first victory in the final series of the Gagarin Cup against SKA St. Petersburg.

Yet another stage of the volunteer programme for the 16th FINA World Championships has concluded. Interviews with candidates seeking to lend their support to the Kazan 2015 Organising Committee took place in Naberezhnye Chelny on March 30, 2015, this putting an end to the search of volunteers for the upcoming mega aquatics event. In order to build a team of the most motivated and skilled volunteers, recruiters from Tatarstan and 20 regions of Russia has been working hard for 130 days.
