Russia will host its first race in the history of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship on 22-23 July 2017 when the series arrives in Kazan.

A number of FINA international swimming federation events are currently taking place in the Canadian city of Windsor, Ontario. On 6 December, the FINA World Swimming Championships will start. On the eve of this event, the FINA Bureau Meeting took place, as well as the FINA World Aquatics Convention (FWAC) (3-5 December), and FINA Gala ceremony.
The FINA World Junior Diving Championships concluded at the Aquatics Palace today. Chinese divers topped the overall team standings with 7 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals.
The closing day of the FINA World Junior Diving Championships ended with the victory of a Chinese diver. Lian Junjie showed the best result in the platform final (Group A Boys).
The seventh day of the FINA World Junior Diving Championships began with the 3m springboard event. Yixian Liang of China collected 408.60 points and earned gold in the 3m springboard final (Group G Girls).
Elena Wassen of Germany won gold on the sixth competition day of the FINA World Junior Diving Championships in Kazan. She was unbeatable in the platform event (Group A Girls). The judges gave 430.70 points to the German diver, which allowed her to top the podium.
