September 1, the Natural History Museum of Tatarstan of Kazan Kremlin turns five years old. Holiday guests are waiting for a theatrical performance, captivating and informative games, mysterious and great discoveries, quizzes and contests, colorful characters, a show of Entertaining Science Laboratory, and of course, souvenirs.
About 100 arts and crafts masters will take part in the fifth international ethnic festival Krutushka, on 23 to 25 August to be held in the namesake village.

President of Tatarstan Prize horse race will be held at “Kazan” equestrian centre on the Kazan Day and the Republic of Tatarstan Day. A total of 3 heats and 13 races will take place there on the 30th of August.
Rubin Kazan confidently won against Norwegian club Molde in the first match of UEFA Europa League play-offs.
The 23rd edition of Days of Tatar Youth will this year be held on 25 to 31 August. The event will gather 180 participants from over 30 Russian regions and near abroad, including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. There will be no Tatarstan participants.
