Two bicycle tourists from the Republic of Tatarstan, Alen Khairullin and Pavel Grachev, who embarked on a world cycling tour commemorating the upcoming 2013 Summer Universiade and the 100th anniversary of Onisim Pankratov's journey around the world, are currently travelling along the US-Mexico border towards Los Angeles.
Members of the President of Russia Physical Culture and Sport Council have today arrived in Kazan. President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, met the visitors at the Kazan international airport.
The Kazan 2013 Summer Universiade Uniform Distribution and Accreditation Centre (UDAC) was launched today in Kazan. The centre offers all necessary facilities for different client groups to collect their accreditation passes and uniforms. It will operate until July 17, 2013.

Rossiya 24 TV channel will broadcast live the Universiade Torch Relay events in Khabarovsk. The live coverage will start at 6am Moscow time.
Four Flame keepers, students of the Far Eastern State Federal University, will bring the Universiade Flame secured in a miner's lantern to the railway station, where it will be greeted by Dmitry Chikunov, Vice-Chairman of the Sports Committee under the Government of the Khabarovsk Territory, and Leila Fazleyeva, Deputy Head of Kazan's Executive Committee on Social Affairs.
