The evening programme of the fourth competition day of the Russian Short Course Swimming Championships in Kazan was headlined by the men’s 50m backstroke final.   

The programme of the penultimate competition day of the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship began with the men’s 4x50 freestyle relay.

The third competition day of the Russian Short Course Swimming Championships featured the most anticipated final in the men’s 400m freestyle event. Tatarstan representative, participant of the Rio Olympic Games, Alexander Krasnykh, who had early earned gold in the men’s 200m event, qualified for the final.

Day 3 of the Russian Short Course Swimming Championships in Kazan kicked off with the women’s finals. The first medals were contested in the medley relay.

The second competition day of the Russian Short Course Swimming Championships ended with the men’s butterfly, women’s freestyle and medley relays.

The second competition day of the Russian Short Course Swimming Championships in Kazan featured three exciting finals. The tournament in the Tatarstan capital that brought together up to 600 athletes serves as a qualification event for the FINA World Short Course (25m) Swimming Championship in Windsor (CAN).

The evening programme of Day 2  at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championships started with the men’s finals.

The first medley relay medals were contested today at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championships in Kazan. Both races – women’s 4x200m freestyle and men’s 4x100m freestyle relays – were dominated by swimmers from Saint Petersburg.

Tatarstan representative and participant of the Rio Olympic Games, Alexander Krasnykh, won the first final on the opening day of the Russian Short Course Swimming Championships in Kazan.
